2020 Annual Meeting 

We would like to thank our speakers, attendees, and sponsors for making our first virtual annual meeting held on June 4, 2020, a success.  COVID-19 is impacting our healthcare systems and our communities. Together we must look at how our future will be affected and be aware of these changes. We elected a new Board of Governors. Thank you to exiting Directors Elizabeth Carlson, Michael Favia, and Vipul Singhal. Fellow Spotlight—Neli Vazquez-Rowland

Nelie Vazquez- Rowland is a pioneer and award-winning social business enterprise professional with 15 years as a co-founder and president of one of the nation’s leading non-profit social enterprises, A Safe Haven Foundation. During COVID-19, she lead with Chicago Department of Public Health and others in a rapid respond to ensure the safety of the homeless individuals.  Her creativity lead to a global virtual run/walk in July to address homelessness. Vazquez-Rowland & A Safe Haven Foundation conducted the 1st ever worldwide virtual run last week to help with homelessness during COVID-19.
